The Murphy Lot Project is breathing new life into the heart of our town. Where the old G.C. Murphy Building once stood at Market and South Stewart Streets, a vibrant community gathering space is taking shape. This isn’t just about creating a park—it’s about strengthening downtown Blairsville for generations to come.

What makes this project special is that it’s entirely donation-funded and volunteer-driven. No corporate interests, just neighbors coming together to create something meaningful. Since 2020, local volunteers have poured their hearts into making this vision a reality, with the grand opening planned for Spring 2025—just in time for Blairsville’s Bicentennial celebration.
