Our History
MariMart began with a simple idea: Medical marijuana shopping should be easy, honest, and welcoming for everyone. We’re a local, family-owned Pennsylvania business, and we opened our first store in Indiana County because we saw the need for something different. Not a luxury boutique. Not a sketchy corner shop. Just a reliable, friendly place where people could get what they need without the pressure or confusion.
We didn’t come from big money or flashy backgrounds. We’re everyday people who believe in the benefits of marijuana and the importance of community. MariMart was dreamed up around the kitchen table, built with help from friends, and shaped by conversations with neighbors who wanted better options but didn’t always know where to start.
From the beginning, we knew we wanted MariMart to feel like your local general store. A place where people say hi, recognize your name, and take the time to answer your questions. That’s why we focus on helpful service, clear signage, and organizing our products by how they make you feel. You don’t have to be an expert to shop here.
Even though our doors just opened in Blairsville, we’ve been working behind the scenes for a long time. We’ve spent years learning about marijuana, choosing the right vendors, and designing a space that feels good to walk into. Every product we carry has been chosen for quality, consistency, and affordability.

Sam Frassenei
Dispensary General Manager
I started my career as a pizza entrepreneur, opening and operating multiple Fox’s Pizza franchises. I then found myself in the marijuana industry, quickly becoming a store manager and eventually helping to open dispensaries. In my free time, I enjoy watching/playing sports (Go Penguins!) and playing videogames. I love my grandma; she’s my best friend!

Dispensary Pharmacist
I became a pharmacist because I care about people, and the medical marijuana industry is where I feel I have had the most positive effect on patients. A Plum native, I am a true animal lover and nature lover. In my spare time, I enjoy going to the beach and camping with my family.
Shae Mogle
Dispensary Technician
This is my first job in the medical marijuana industry; I hope to use my knowledge and experience as a patient to help others. I’m a big football fan (go Eagles!), and I really enjoy going out with friends and spending time outdoors. I also love animals; I have a bunny, two hermit crabs, and 3 dogs.
